| Tourism Mission from Sri Lanka visit CSHG in Spain |

Facilitated by AGSL, under the partnership between Centro Superior de Hosteleria de Galicia (CSHG) and Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM), there will be a mission to Spain from Sri Lanka in the month of October 2009. This will be in twofold: first will be the institutional visit to CSHG by the representatives from SLITHM and the second is the participation of representatives from Sri Lanka to the Advance Seminar on Sustainable Management and Preservation of Natural and Cultural Touristic Resources which will be in Galicia, Spain.

Participation of the representatives from SLITHM Bandarawela and Koggala in the institutional visit to CSHG:
Comprised of two delegates from SLITHM Bandarawela and Koggala, the mission will take place from 19th October until 30th October 2009. This will include attending the practical cookery classes of CSHG, prepare a Sri Lankan menu for the seminar participants with CSHG students and participate in the different site visits with the seminar group. |

Participation in the Advance Seminar on Sustainable Management and Preservation of Natural and Cultural Touristic Resources:
Mr. Hemasiri, Chairman of Ruhunu Tourist Bureau of Southern Province will take part in the seminar. This will give the opportunity to the Chairman to get the Galician experience in policy making on introducing new concepts in promoting tourism. Also, he will have the opportunity to meet the Secretary of Tourism of Xunta de Galicia (Galician Government) and visit some representatives from the hotels in the Galician region.
